Painting while pregnant?

I assume painting is a no go while pregnant? We were going to paint the nursery with walmart paint. Am I able to paint? Google has been no luck. It's mixed answers. I did plan to wear a mask.

Painting is fine. Try to find low VOC paint and wear a mask if you’re sanding. Open windows for ventilation.

I painted a whole garage at 12 weeks and then baby’s nursery at around 30 weeks . I’m 39 weeks now and everything has been just  fine . Just make sure it’s ventilated . Open doors and windows 😊

I refinished a dresser with a primer and white paint at 24 weeks pregnant but I did a lot of research beforehand. Get a water based paint (not an oil base, as the fumes are harmful). I also wore gloves, kept the space well ventilated and wore a face mask. I was totally fine!

Head up, dust masks and chemical masks are not the same. The white ones in the paint area are for sanding. Not for fumes

I did both times my son is 4 years old just left window and doors open and currently 21 weeks we painted like 2 weeks ago same windows open and doors it didn’t bother me none didn’t make me feel any kind of way either

I bought zero VOC paint to paint he nursery. But as long as the room is ventilated you should be fine.
