Period?

This started 3 days ago. I'm supposed to start my period in 2 days. Usually I start cramping and feeling really sick and nauseous about 4 days before I start my period. But yesterday morning I just felt really sick to my stomach and a horrible headache. No cramps nothing. Then I coughed and had the sharpest pain go across my lower abdomen. I started crying because I've never had a pain like that. And it's been persistent every day since. Everything I do bend, cough, sneeze, walk etc I just keep getting these super sharp pains and I feel like I'm gonna throw up. I'm having hot flashes like crazy. Idk what's going on. I'm still not having any cramping. Is this normal? I took some pain meds but it's not working.
