Do you have back pain that you think is caused from previous epidural?

So I am a first time mom due next month and lately I’ve been seeing a lot of women online say that they have back pain and they blame it on their epidurals they’ve had in the past. I just wanted to make this poll and see how many women do suffer from back pain after birth and think that the epidural is the reason why. I’d also love to hear some stories if you mamas would care to explain. Thanks!

No. The chances of actually getting back pain from an epidural are super slim. People love to blame it on that but it’s just pregnancy that messes up your back in a majority of cases.

Pregnancy itself will cause back pain and mess your body up. The back pain I have is in my upper back from poor posture, once the baby came out I had no core strength and slouched to feed her, pick her up, etc. no pain where the epidural was.

The back pain I have isn’t from my epidural. It’s from a lifetime of working hard 😓. 
I have my stepmom squawking at me not to get one again because one of her friends gets headaches now. I’m like ooookay did she rule out all other causes before assuming they’re from the epidural.

I had little muscle spasms in my back after getting the epidural. That lasted a few weeks after birth and have been gone sense. I have chronic sciatica and other back issues tho, that started with pregnancy and didn’t end after it either.

I had my baby all natural, and sometimes I have back pains.. I don’t think the epidural causes that I think is birth itself lol

My mum couldn’t walk for 6 months after her epidural with my older sister obviously it’s been 25 years, she reacted badly to it x
