I’m 14 weeks and have no clue what we’re having yet, and my mom is soo ready to buy EVERYTHING for her new grand baby to be. I’ve asked her from the beginning to wait to buy things until we know and to at least include me in the big accessories such as: diaper bags, strollers, car seats, and cribs/bedroom suits. She cannot seam to understand but recently she’s bought a stroller AND a diaper bag without asking me what I prefer and ignoring my initial request. I of course am thankful for her and the gifts but I don’t exactly like either one.. but I didn’t tell her that I just asked again NOT to buy anything because we don’t know what we’re having and there are some items I want to pick out myself. Well she has gotten so mad at that fact and has begun being snide and petty about it saying “I’ll never buy you anything again” and she’s giving those (expensive) gifts to someone else telling me how much more THEY will appreciate them. When I try to explain myself she literally bows down to me saying “anything for you princess”. Well when I get fed up with her being rude and we fight about it she will say I’m only acting this way because I’m pregnant and emotional and that I’ve hurt her feelings. I just don’t know what to do in this situation!! Any advice would be appreciated!!
