Anyone ever have a fever in pregnancy ? SOS

So I have kidney problems, I’ve had them since 20 weeks pregnant, now I am 28.1. A fever was what the urologist told me would be a sign of kidney infection or a sign of “your kidneys are shutting down.”

All of this requires hospital stays or emergency surgery.

I don’t have a thermometer at home, and my husband won’t be home for a few hours - I’m on bedrest and I’m not allowed to drive.

I have every fever symptom in the book, and I already took a Tylenol. Is there anything else I can do to alleviate the symptoms? Help in any way?
