Is it what I think it is?

So for the past couple of weeks I have been having a strong jolt of pain in my lower stomach that shoots down to my ‘area.’ I’m currently 29 w and 4 d; it’s starting to happen at least twice a day. Is it Braxton Hicks? If not, what is it?

This kind of sounds like lightening crotch to me. I get this every once in a while and it’s so uncomfortable! If you google lightening crotch a ton of information will come up, and on here if you search it others talk about it!

Braxton is normally not painful, just uncomfortable.  It sounds to me like baby is just growing quick :) maybe starting to settle down into a comfy position
