I am a sahm and my husband works from 5am-5:30pm and has a hour commute to work to home. We have a 2 week old baby girl and was wondering how other moms felt about this. I am exhausted from being the only one that wakes up with our daughter during the night and trying to keep the house clean. My husband doesnt help with either. He sleeps hard so there’s no way he would ever wake up to her crying and since he works he feels like he shouldn’t have to anyways. Even when he’s home off of work he still doesn’t help me with these things and I just got back from being in the hospital for 5 days since I developed postpartum preeclampsia and he didn’t help while I was in the hospital either. I kept her in the hospital with me and still woke up and done everything even while in the hospital with Iv and heart monitor on me. I could count on my 2 hands how many times he has changed her diaper or fed her. I feel bad for saying anything or for being tired since he does work and he is the only income we have. Just looking for advice I guess, is this okay or should be more helpful. He just feels that since he provides finically for her I should do all the rest??
