Menstrual Cup - how does it fit???

Just got a Skoon cup and am excited to try it, but I've been practicing how you put it on and such so I know when I actually need it...but I swear I nearly lost that son-of-a up in there and I'm wondering if I'm wearing it wrong? Is the stem too short on this cup to grub correctly to get it out ??? Anyone else have experience with this? Maybe everything is just..deep up there for me? Or I have some "lippage" that makes it difficult to grip and get out. Sorry for possible tmi, but thing to see if I should work with it or get a new one...
