Clomid and IUI

Hello,

So we went to the specialist yesterday to get results from HSG, blood, sperm test- looks like I have a luteal phase defect (low progesterone) and my corpus luteum and eggs aren’t as healthy as they want. Also, my husband has funny shaped sperm and so with us both having issues it’s a double whammy. They moved us straight to Clomid AND IUI where they will wash his sperm to extract the dull ones before IUI. After IUI I will be on progesterone.

Would love to hear about others on Clomid with IUI. My fears are normal- I’m scared it won’t work and we will bump to IVF. I do wonder if we should ask to go straight to IVF or not. Thanks ladies!
