What do you think?

So I like this guy and I really want to text him. The only problem is my parents have a rule that if a guy wants to text me he has to ask my dad for permission. My dad and crush won’t be in the same place for a really long time.

I don’t know what to do because next week is gonna be the last time I see him before summer. Can anyone think of some good reasoning I can use so my parents will let me text him without him having to ask permission?
