Help! Need advice!

My boyfriend wants a gift for his birthday that I don’t feel like I can afford. I’m trying to save up my money because I graduate college in a year. I don’t want to disappoint him. (Side note he’s overseas right now so we can’t go out or do things for his birthday). I don’t know what to do.
