What would you do in this situation?

We took in a family member off the streets he was a drug addict but claimed he was clean. We didn’t want to take him in but he had no other family who would give him a chance since all his other family has cut him off for his drug use and him spending most his life in prison. We gave him a room and food and other essentials like soap, toilet paper, Laundry detergent etc. he help doing labor for us and we payed him a little. Eventually we gave him a chance and let him work in our store that me and my husband own. This was his first job ever despite being 50 years old. First with stocking and working in the back then we let him work sales and handling money. I personally didn’t want to allow him to handle money but my husband said he trust him and he would never steal from us after everything we have done for him. Well as it turns out we caught him red handed stealing money from us he has been making sales and instead of marking and scanning them he has been pocketing the money. Now here this guy is living in our home for free, eating our food using our water and electricity, we have been giving him everything for free and paying him, And he has stealing from us right behind our back. So what would you do in this situation would you give him another chance or kick him out to live on the streets?

Edit- my husband wants to give him another chance but he is no longer allowed to handle money (he’s my husband uncle) and I want him out of my house he is a thief and a drug addict and I don’t trust him.
