Litter genie versus diaper genie

I already had the litter genie and I LOVE IT. the “technology” it uses completely masks the smell and is totally sealed. No smell is getting out of there. I can’t live without it.

I assumed the diaper genie was the same so I put it on my baby registry and got one and a years supply of refill bags.

However, the diaper genie is NOT the same as the litter genie. it’s just like two little trap doors. It’s not sealed at all. It’s not a huge deal now bc my newborns poops don’t even smell but I’m kind of bummed and confused why they aren’t made the same.

Does anyone know what I’m talking about and know where to get something like a diaper genie but that uses the same “technology” as the litter genie?
