Have you ever...?

Have you ever started spotting like a whole week before your period?

I am on birth control, the same kind I have been on for months. In July I had switched what time I take them from a later time during the day to an earlier time. Now it feels like I have a period every two weeks.

Last Monday I started spotting, you that brown gunky stuff that normally comes after your period and then it slowly worked its way into the flow today.

So my question is this normal? Has this or something similar happened to you?

I am checking in with my doctor to make sure this normal and if its not what I can do to make things right.
