Constant abdominal pain- possible hernia..?

I've had a pretty constant pain in my lower abdomen for months now. It feels like mild menstrual cramps that don't necessarily hurt all that much but I can always feel it there and it's starting to get annoying. Very often I also get a bad stitch-like pain toward the left of my very lower abdomen between the bottom of my hip joint to just below my belly button.

I'm not sure how long exactly either of these have been there, but I did have a day just before the new year where I was in so much pain across my stomach that I couldn't even walk and was sobbing in agony, which reeaallly isn't like me at all, but I'm not sure if that was related, and I'm unsure if the two pains I currently have are related to each other as well.

For a few weeks I've been feeling bloated and almost like there was "something" in my stomach at times. I've felt and seen a golf ball sized mass at the top of my abdomen (below my sternum) which visibly moves freely and randomly, so much so that it reminds me of how my son would twist and move around when I was pregnant, but have been advised that this may just be a gas bubble working through my intestine, though if the were the case I'd have thought it would move one way or another, not everywhere. I'm pretty slim so it's more noticeable when I'm laying flat.

Someone has also suggested to me that it may be a hernia but I've never known anyone to have one so I can't be certain of the realistic symptoms etc.

I'll be seeing a doctor in s few days but if anyone can shed any light in the meantime then please feel free! 🙏
