Baby fever

Ok guys help!

Me and my husband have been married for a year and a half now. We both really want kids. We talk about it all the time and make jokes that “when we have kids they will..” or “our kids is going to no so..” we talk about baby names and hope we have for them. There is no doubt that we will some day have kids. One problem.. I want that someday to be SOON! He is scared and says we aren’t ready yet. Any advice to convince him we are ready for this step? Help!
