What would you do if your dog bit your infant/child?

Not just a playful “nip” like full on un provoked bite that left a marks and drew blood or needed stitches.

The controversial aspect is rehome the animal or have it put down.

Update 2: this is just a hypothetical based off a local story in my state where a boys arm was bit clean off below the elbow by two young dogs. They are to be put into training and rehomed.
