Postpartum party
Does anyone else’s partner feel they deserve a medal for not going out for a certain amount of time? I’m cheesed right now. My fiancé said I always make him feel like he can’t go out- I have never, not once said he can’t go out.. I honestly don’t care. I have however reiterated many times that I’d prefer he doesn’t come home and ask him to stay a friends house. Which ticks him off. WELL SORRY that I’ve got our 3.5 month old baby sleeping in our room still and his brother down the hall. Maybe if he didn’t come in and make a mess all over the bathroom, or forget to pay the taxi driver and have him banging on our door at 2am OR fucking want to chit chat... not like I’m trying to sleep or anything. So that’s what I say, I don’t care if you go out, just don’t come home! Yesterday he brought up that I make him feel guilty when he wants to go out and he hasn’t been out for like 5 months. ... do you want a medal? I haven’t been out for like 16 months and you don’t hear me whining. Ugh. Sorry I realize this all sounds so juvenile but I just had to get it out. Like fuck off. The last time he went out he came home, didn’t pay the taxi- I had to go out in my nighty like 8 months pregnant, pay the taxi and pick his phone up off the ground.
You wanted a child just as much as me. You don’t get a dad award for not partying.
End rant.
