Nuchal translucency

Tomorrow I will be 12 weeks and getting nuchal translucency testing via ultrasound.. Figured it's better to know if there is such problem, then not to. But I've also heard a lot of stories about false diagnostics threw it. Does anyone know how accurate it is/ what causes this or if you have a story to share I would love to hear it! 💕
