1 hour glucose test results... 🙄

So I got the results for the 1 hour test. The national cut off is now 140 mg/dL. My result was 137 mg/dL, making me in the normal range from what I’ve been reading on multiple articles. But my doctors cut off is at 130 mg/dL. They want me to do the 3 hour test now, with the possibility if I fail, of making me taking insulin shots.

I have PCOS so this is something I’ve been worried about since getting pregnant because we have a higher likelihood of having Gestational Diabetes. But as the National cut off is 140, I passed, and instead of feeling a sense of victory, I’m even more stressed.

The pregnancy has been going great. At 28 weeks, the normal weight gain is 15-30lbs. I’ve gained 16. My daughter is currently 2 lbs 6 ounces, which they say is normal range. And now I’m stressing that something is going to go wrong because of this test.

Anyone have advice?
