What to pack???

Hi nicu mamas! I’m preparing for an early delivery and wanted to get a nice bag of stuff together for baby and I. What are the best essentials that you have found helped you through your stay?

Pack lots of clothes for little one preemie and newborn. They let you put your own clothes on them and if you have pets ask to take home something of the baby’s after they wear it so they get used to the smell! I honestly suggest getting lots of diapers (For you) I hated the pads they gave me and was more comfortable in depends since I didn’t have to keep changing the pad out. Lots of tissues there will be lots of tears. Comfy clothes and some blankets for little one so if they let you swaddle them it’s at least their own stuff! There’s really no way to be comfortable in the hospital but just try and bring some stuff that comforts you from home. Good luck mama! How early will your little one be?

i got little battery operated candles for my room! i didn’t use them until i was in post partum but it was just a nice relaxing touch!! and if youre planning on a suit case i’d recommend a duffel bag, it makes for easy access rather than lifting a big ole suit case in your tiny room.
