Does this seem like a good thing?

A few months ago I spent a weekend with a guy friend and we hooked up twice before he went back to another state. We talked for weeks after until he ended it saying we should just stay friends for reasons. I was devastated bc I really liked him and I thought we’d never be good friends again. Well, as of 2 weeks ago he started to message me a lot. When we were talking I’d send him memes all the time so when we stopped I’d send him like 2 a week. He wouldn’t even like all of them. But 2 weeks ago he sent me a bunch one night. The next day more. The next day I posted on my story twice and he replied to both of them. The day after he sent me more and replied to more of my stories. Than he sent a group snap saying he’s going to be back in a month and we should hang. Once I said yeah he stopped. Idk if he was nervous that I might not wanna hang ? Anyways this past week he’s been sending some and I’ll send some back. He’s even sent me snap chats and pics. But these past few days have been weird. I’ll send him stuff but he’ll just open it and that’s it. He did like a pic I posted. I just don’t know if this means anything. I want to keep it going and keep talking to him the way we have but I don’t want to annoy him and f it up by the time he comes back home. What do I even do???
