Did anyone get a doula even though you are using an epidural?

A friend advised me that a doula is mostly for natural birth, anyone consider it or get one for non natural birth ie. epidural.

My doula was amazing even having an epidural!!! Sometimes you can't get one right away, and she got me through the beginning of labor. She watched babies monitoring and caught when his heartrate started dropping and alerted the nurses who weren't there.
Then she helped me postpartum with breastfeeding, positions that are comfortable while I was recovering, holding the baby so I could pee or shower. 
Delivery doulas and postpartum doulas I would recommend 10/10 every time. I'm having her again with my second birth!

Answer

The only issue I see is doulas will use body positions and movement to help with labor and pain relief. With an epidural you have very limited movement and are bed ridden.
