Period like cramping - third trimester

Ftm here. Wondering if anyone else here has experienced period like cramping around the 31-32 week mark? I'm currently 31 + 5 and noticed mild period like cramping that started yesterday but only lasted for a few seconds and then it went away completely. Today I am noticing I am having the period like cramping in intervals. They first started every 4 hours and lasted like a minute if that, then they started occurring once every hour and have lasted a bit longer. Just wondering if this is normal or not. I've also noticed sometimes the cramps make their way up to my mid stomach.
