Anyone here believe in the Greek gods? If so how do you go about worshipping them or however you praise them? I'm just curious no judging! ✌👌👍

Ok, this is going to sound strange.

I am Christian, but I believe all religions are related to each other. I believe the Greeks, Romans, Vikings, etc, "gods" were actually Angels. I do believe in them in a way, and also believe some myths were more a way of describing something we did not know.

I don't "worship" them as I believe that is against my beliefs, but I do see them as special and important.

I believe in them - I serve ALL the gods from every nation. But the only Greek one I worship directly is Orpheus. However, I'm still "testing" him out, AND I'm new to The Craft, so I don't know much about HOW to worship him (or any deity) other than some basics that I can't do yet.

But I suggest funding out a day, or season that's important to him and do a small ritual or prayer at your alter for him. Incorporate things he represents (such as music, dancing, a statue of a woman who'd represent his lover - things like that). And just do your own thing to incorporate those things in to your ritual or your day. Be creative - he's born from a muse, after all :)

I think he's also a constellation, so you can do it at night under the stars too.

I follow the Old Norse gods, I believe the contemporary name is Astru. That being said Stephen McNallen DOES NOT speak for me.

I pray to Thor, Eir, Frigga, Loki and Freya most often. I was a devout Lutherans for 25 years, this year I could no longer ignore the Gods calling to me. So I answered, I've never felt better.

For most of them, I'll walk outside and offer the deity I need advice from some mead. I take a sip, and pour them a sip. We have a conversation, I pour the rest of my mead for them and wait a day or so for their reply.

During class I'll say "Eir, is it sepsis or staph?" (Norse goddess of healing & medicine.)

Or I'll stop and say "Thor, should I go for a run or lift weights?" Or "Thor, I'm thinking that nursing and then becoming is a good idea for Ragnarok and after that, what do you think?"

Usually I'll see a sign or their animal familiar heading towards my husband, which usually means "Bro. You should totally do that thing!"
