Im 17 and he's 16 we've been together for almost a year and a half I'm just curious as to what makes a relationship serious. My mom said something that implied my relationship wasn't I mean I know we are young so I'm just curious what a serious relationship is

Hi, I have been in your situation and to be honest i spent 2 years with a guy and we never were serious. Now i am in a very serious relationship and to be honest it shows between one relationship and another. Regards to my experience when a guy is serious and a relationship is serious; you talk about your plans for the future, he wants you to meet his family, he is not afraid to show you off. These are the differences i truly saw.
