Meant to be or not?

Ive been in a relationship for nearly 5 years. We have a beautiful 2 year old daughter together. And I’ve always felt in my heart that he is the one for me. He breaks up with me at least once a year. It’s always when he leaves town for work. Even though he does this, I still feel like he’s the one. He doesn’t respect me in the way I should be respected. He left me again two months ago and then tells me he wants me back. I’m not in love with him anymore and he knows that. But he wants us to try to work it out. He has even brought up marriage. I know he realizes his mistake. But I’m just so confused on why I still feel like he is the one for me.. has anyone else went through this and everything turned out fine or should I just move on?
