Help I don’t know what to do

So my mom and I have plans to go get mother daughter tattoos tomorrow. We have been trying to plan this for a while now, my husband knows about it he has known about it and when I finally told him that we’re doing it tomorrow he told me that he doesn’t want to hear about it and that it will change how he feels about me. Now let me give you a little backstory he’s always told me that he doesn’t like tattoos, but I really want one. And I have always wanted one. We’ve talked about it before. I really want to get a mother-daughter tattoo with my mom, but I don’t see what the problem is with me getting one little tattoo on my forearm it’s not like he’s going to be seeing it all the time. I don’t know what to do. Do I make my husband happy and not get one? Or do I make me happy and get one? He’s always trying to control me and my life and what I do. But I don’t know if I’m not being fair or what. Anybody with advice can you please help me
