Does the flabby belly disappear?

7 weeks pp and still there. Does it shrink or will I end up with Saggy bits? I was a size 2 pre-pregnancy and 124 pounds.

At 7-weeks it’s totally normal to still be saggy, soft, puffy however you want to describe it. Your skin and abs stretched out so much so it’s going to take more time to heal and then you need to specifically strengthen your muscles again. I mean some ladies might just bounce back there but I think most of us have to put in the effort for results. Have you been cleared to exercise again yet? Have you been checked for diastasis Recti?

Mine did after my first pregnancy around 12 weeks but then I got pregnant again at 5 months postpartum soooo I doubt my flabby belly will go away again that easily lol and no I didn’t work out but I plan to after my postpartum appointment this time

Wearing a waist trainer really helps! It’s hard bc it really gets itchy, but don’t take it off for nothing but showering!

Depends on your genes and the work you put into it. You can definitely make it go away but it can take some work unless you hit the gene jackpot

i was 127 when i got pregnant. i am now 115. it’ll shrink BUT i still have extra skin 😕 my son is 14 months.
