Struggling

I need a little encouragement. My baby girl is four weeks today and breastfeeding has been so hard. We’ve gone through a few issues but now the biggest is that it just hurts. It feels like her mouth is a mix of sandpaper and knives. I’ve gone to lactation consultants and one basically said she needs a bigger mouth. It’s really miserable. I was hoping maybe some of you moms who have struggled but stayed with it could share why you feel that was the right choice? I can’t help but think how much easier formula would be.
