Orphanage Visits

Has anyone here ever visited an orphanage or simply donated their time or resources? So many women here are prolife, I'm just wondering if that extends past anti-abortion for anyone. I had the opportunity to visit children in a home for kids who are being abused, and it was SUCH a humbling experience. I was fighting tears the entire time I was there. It was on a small island, I'm not sure if they have those sort of things in the U.S. or even the UK.
