BV that won't go away??

Anyone have issues with BV not going away after treatment?  I have no idea why I keep getting this - almost 32 weeks and just finished 3rd round of antibiotics in past 2 months. And I don't think it's gone. The pre-term labor concerns make me so nervous, of course, but it also doesn't seem like the antibiotics are resolving the problem. Dr said we'll test again at my appointment next week but then maybe we'll just leave it be. Symptoms aren't too bad and my first baby (5 yrs ago) was born at k41+ weeks - never tested for BV then so who knows if I had it. Anyone else have this continuing problem?  What do your Drs say?  Anyone have recurring BV without pre-term labor?

I've had BV for almost two years now. I've tried treating it numerous times with metronidazole or flagyl or the vaginal insert cream as well and nothing. I am now 32+4 and doctor said it won't affect the baby but it does get me nervous as to how wouldn't it if I give birth vaginal. I will ask more questions Thursday when I go for my check up.

Curious what your symptoms are. I went in to test for it 2 weeks ago. I used to get the infections semi-often before pregnancy until my gyn told me to up my vitamin D intake and that actually worked and cured my recurring infections. So like I said I went in 2 weeks ago thinking that was what I had obviously recognizing the symptoms but it was negative and so was a yeast infection test. Dr still treated me for BV though. But no Flagyl this time, it was metrozidale or something like that. It went away but I'm scared this is going to come back recurring again triggered by pregnancy
