What should I eat?

I am trying to lose weight & I will be doing gym too but my question is what size should my portions be & I want to know what you guys personally eat for breakfast lunch & dinner so I can get an idea.

(Mind you I’m 20 Hispanic live with my parents & we eat a lot of meat , eggs , cheese , etc ) what are alternatives or what portions should I do because sometimes I will just have to eat what is cooked at this home
