Normal White Discharge ?

Okay so I’ve always struggled to figure out what kind of whit discharge is normal and what is too much! I was always told white means yeast but as I’ve been in adulthood I have white discharge a lot of the time- and it’s not cottage cheese like they describe. Is it normal to have little whit discharge between the folds of everything and in your underwear? Or is that something I should be worried about!
