I'm stupid for starting this whole thing 🙄

Alright hello ladies,

I'm just a girl looking for advice to be honest. Here's the background story: So I met this guy online, we've Skype called, FaceTimed, we chat on text everyday, it's great. He asked me how old I was..I lied and said 16 because I wasn't looking for love because I'm so young 🤦‍♀️ (he's 16) Anyways I'm in no way trying to sound cocky at all, but I feel like I'm rather mature for my age (14) and he's a little immature at times. It's like a balancing scale I guess? So back to the point. We were texting this evening and usually we do this thing on Fridays, where we might reveal a secret about each other. It's fun because it keeps us learning new things about one another. Anyways we got side tracked..and we were joking around about ages. Now, I've really been meaning to tell him that I'm not how old he thinks I am for a long time. I feel terrible by keeping this from him. Anyways so I thought I'd drop a hint tonight. He said "your turn bb" and I replied with "yeah I'm 14. Still love me?" He replied with saying "yeah I'm not sure 😁" This hurt my feelings. He's got every right to say what he thinks. But he previously admitted that he now likes me more than a friend. I'm aware that I'm still very young, but there's something about him that's special. Any advice?
