Baby cot or bassinet?

Hi can anyone suggest what would be better for a new born baby. A cot or bassinet? We are staying in a 800sqft so space is a slight issue.

Honestly since space is issue I would get a pack in play with the bassinet it. It can have triple use as a changer table and crib after the bassinet is outgrown. 
This is the one I got i live in a small 2 bedroom home. Theirs no way I could fit a crib in my small room

This is the bassinet I’ll be using . The side comes up or you can leave it down and it can be flush with bed . It also anchors to your bed for safety . I also purchased mine second hand in excellent condition for only $20

Im starting off with this bassinet, (i got it second  hand) its on wheels so it  can be anywhere in the house and its bigger than other bassinets out there.  With my babies i usually use a bassinet /cradle for the first few months as they sleep in it next to my bed to make night feeds easier, under it ill have a basket with  nappies,  wipes, cream, nappy bags, breast pads etc so everything is easily accessible and i dont have to get out of bed at night because i have to have csections
