Too soon for baby shopping??

I want to start preparing for baby but I’m worried if I should just keep waiting until I’m further along. Is 14 weeks too early?

I'm 16 weeks and I've been buying diapers for a few weeks now. I've also got my diaper bag, changing table, nursery glider, the dresser, and some books. I'd much rather space out the spending. That and I'm too excited. Go for it, it's your money!

We’re buying our crib today! There is a great Memorial Day sale at the furniture store we shop at. We are going to replace the floor in the nursery so we won’t set it up until that is done, but figured we couldn’t miss out on a good sale 🤷🏼‍♀️. 
I also like to budget so buying things here and there make it easier on finances rather than waiting and having to do it all at once so starting early works for us.

We have a bunch of stuff from our first and got the baby blanket for them and for stuff from my sister already that she isn’t gonna be using and setting up the crib around 20 weeks. Getting little things here and there is fine I wouldn’t be to worried but it’s all about what you feel comfortable with :)

I started after my 12 week appointment. You could always start stocking up on non-baby items too like toilet paper, paper towels, detergents, etc... these are things I can easily stock up on and not have to worry about when I’m out of work for a few months.

I have started buying diapers, gender neutral clothes, my rocker for the baby room and getting the paint today. I'm 14 weeks 🤷‍♀️. I like to be super prepared and have time to get things since we only have one income.

We have a car seat, clothes, bath, belly time mat, crib mattress because my sister is giving us a crib and my mom and sister have already Bought us a swing. 
I feel that it’s not too early because you don’t want to be 30 weeks trying to get everything! 😁

I’ll be 17 weeks on Monday, this past week we purchased the crib, dresser, and changing table since they were on sale. Today, I got a baby tub that ended up being free with kohl’s cash and coupons. Then, I went to Ross and bought some decorations for the nursery, shopping cart cover, wash clothes, and a stuffed animal. I also recently purchased a thanksgiving themed onesie. It was hard to wait as long as I did to start buying things, and I’m ready to buy more, but I don’t even find out the gender until June 20th, and I’m still not 100% sure if I’m having a baby shower or not so I’m trying to hold off on buying everything and having more than we need.

Too soon for baby shopping??
