Graco slim fit, was on sale for $120 I think? (When babies r us was closing!) I love everything. It’s not bulky at all like pretty much every single car seat we tried. We were able to put in 3 in our back seat in different directions (forward and rear facing) & we were sold. 
I hate nothing. Love everything.

Graco extend2fit! Its my favorite. Gives My son extra leg room to rear face longer, easy to get him strapped in quickly, very easy to adjust as he grows.   I bought it from amazon for around $140.

Britax Marathon. I paid $160 since I got it right before the Britax Marathon Clicktight came out.
It's easy to install and easy to adjust the harness. My daughter has been in it since she was about 9 months old and she's always seemed comfortable. The top tether has a storage pouch, which is nice. The LATCH anchors have a higher maximum weight than a lot of other car seats.
It is heavier than a lot of other car seats. Britax also recommends hand washing the cover and the harness cannot be completely removed for washing, which is kind of a pain.

I love this seat! It goes above and beyond safety standards. It’s steel enforced and has a nice heavy weight to it. I just can’t get behind a car seat made of all plastic materials. Especially since I drive a small car, I wanted to go the extra mile with the car seat. This one is also a breeze to install! The zip off cover makes it easy to keep clean as well. We also have the Britax Boulevard, it was $300. We enjoy it for the same reasons as the Chicco seat. Install on the Britax seat is even easier than the Chicco though! The only gripe I have about the Britax seat is the rubber gray pieces on the straps make it slightly harder to adjust and tighten the straps before you take off. I keep the Chicco one in my car because I like it a little more. I’m all about saving a buck where I can, but when it comes to safety that’s where I splurge on the better options.

Clek Fllo Convertible Car Seat
Clek Fllo. It’s usually around $389 but I’ve managed to get each of ours on sale for $300. I love everything about it. Extra safety features (steel subframe, anti rebound bar, energy absorbing crumple technology, and more). It’s a great looking seat and narrow enough to fit 3 across in most vehicles but still roomy and comfortable. They are a Canadian company, which I think is great (rather than something from overseas), they use naturally flame retardant and stain resistant materials so no harsh chemicals. It also has higher than average rear-facing height and weights limits. It’s heavy, but I think k all the good convertible seats are, it’s a really sturdy seat. Also easy to install and gas built in seatbelt lock-offs so seatbelt installation is always secure, or their is the LATCH options as well. It’s a really great seat.

Nuna Rava. It was $399 I believe... I love how easy it was to install, how cozy it seems, and how protective it is. I honestly haven’t found anything I don’t like about it yet and have had it 7 months

Nuna Rava! I found a good deal on magic beans and got it for $350. We have had graco and britax seats before but nothing compares to Nuna! Its sooooo easy to install, very comfortable, and one of the safest seats ever. It’s worth every penny.
