Ovulation pain

I got a positive opk late Wednesday night... it stayed positive Thursday, and started to fade late Friday evening. I know I was ovulating from the right side because I have had pain on that side leading up to ovulation. I would assume I have ovulated already but I’m still having pain in the right groin area. Is this normal? Does this mean I haven’t ovulated or is it normal to have pain after ovulation? Please share experiences! And if it had anything to do with it, I had a chemical this past month.
