Go or no go? (Story below)

Soo my family made fun of me for not being outgoing. Apparently I stay at home everyday all day. They said I need to go out more I said I have no friends so they told me to go alone. Example eating a burger in the parking lot alone or going to the casino to watch even though I can’t play yet. I’m almost 21 at the end of this year.

I told my friend who I work with and known her since 2016 from a career class but we’ve never hanged out.

She said what about me I’m your friend, I said yea but we never hang out and your always with your bf and sister.

She said true we should hang out tho. I said we should.

Well next thing out of the blue she invited our other 3 co workers to have a little event just for us on a Saturday. Basically a movie and dinner (not official). Well someone suggested they bring there spouse/partners.

Well here’s the thing, 1 girl is pregnant and is bringing her boyfriend, the other two girls are bringing their boyfriends, the guy is bringing his wife and we’ll yet again I’m solo. 🙃

I told her I don’t feel comfortable with this and not sure if I even wanna go anymore because last time I did go solo at our Christmas work party I sat there for 4 hours straight talking to nobody at a table while everyone else talked to each other. I tried talking but people kept ignoring me anyways that’s off topic. She suggested she would bring her middle school sister for me so we could talk. Which her sister is sweet ! but I feel this just isn’t for me.

All they talk about is moving houses, responsibilities like bills/cars/etc. that I don’t have, having kids, what their spouses do and shit which I can’t relate. I also don’t want to get bombarded with single questions. Worse part Im the only one who can’t even drink either for being underage 😅🤣

Sooo idk to go or not?
