Am I being petty?

My husband and I have our own hobbies we do. we do lots together but sometimes we have different interests. 
When my husband goes out and does his hobbies and activities, it’s ok for him to go on his own or with his buddies. Just doin guy stuff. 
But if I ever wanted to do something that I like to do (exercise, paint, hang with friends), his mom insists that I need to do those things with him because it’s healthy. 
Is it wrong to be a little peeved?

His mom is crazy. You both have your own interests. There’s nothing wrong with sharing your interests with each other but I don’t see why she thinks you guys should do every little things together all the time. That’s weird and you guys need to be able to do your own thing without the other person.
