could i be infertile?

hey ladies so i’ve been ttc for 3 months now and these 3 months i’ve used clearblue opks and have had sex on my ‘high’ and ‘peak’ days , but no matter what i still get my period 😢😢 could it mean im infertile? any ttc tips?

It can take awhile. But don’t listen to the wait a year thing. That’s insurance talk that gynos push. I went to my pcp at 8 months ttc with my concerns. She ran blood work, came back with celiac and hypothyroidism. This got us to a fertility specialist the next month. We had a diagnosis (male factor) and a plan (x3 rounds of clomid then ivf) by the year mark.

Most doctors won’t consider fertility treatments until you’ve been actively trying for at least six months. Keep trying and if nothing changes then schedule an appointment with your OB/GYN.

I tried getting pregnant for a year and 4 months. Me and my partner always did it on the correct days and did everything you are suppose to and were getting discouraged after a year. So I went to a fertility specialist and they gave me the cost of everything to move forward with fertility treatments. Since my insurance only covered half the cost we decided to wait and just try some more and keep doing out it our way. I also didnt want to go threw that emotional toll. I was already a bit burnt out and discouraged.Then all of sudden boom. We got pregnant finally! It was absolutely amazing timing to say the least.  So honestly I think it will happen when it happens. It always seems to happen when you start to lose faith and wonder what the heck is wrong. It's really different  timing with everyone. But dont worry. It will happen when you seriosuly least expect it. Try not to give up.

It can take a while, but if you are worried see your doctor and share your concerns. I waited a year to see my doctor and now have been going through infertility for 3 years. I wish I would have started treatments sooner. 
Sometimes it’s nice to talk with your doctor to ease concerns!
