Brazilian Wax before labor?

Question

TMI. I’m seriously debating on getting one before I give birth. No, I’m not wanting to do it to look clean for labor or because doctors will all up on there 😂. I am considering it because it last longer than shaving and I don’t like to feel hairy or dirty. I don’t know if I would make it if they said I can’t shave after labor.. lol. I like to keep myself shaven. 
Anyways. Has anyone done it or would recommend?

I would. I get it done once a month religiously though. I prefer it. It’s less itchy

Actually its recommended not to because your more prone to infection hairless shaving or waxing before birth

I started going at 25 weeks and I wish I would've started going forever ago. I just had my last one at 38+2. It apparently hurts more when you are pregnant and my first one did hurt but I've had two since then and they weren't bad at all. I would go a week or two before your due date because the skin does feel raw/ tender for a couple days and you want it healed up before labor.

I've done it for 3 months now. It's definitely not painless, but I have a high pain tolerance. At least that's what the esthetician tells me. But, I prefer it to shaving. I'm currently 34 weeks, and I'm not trying to blind shave, and I am too afraid to let my husband. Waxing is much easier, and lasts much longer. The doctor hasn't mentioned anything about shaving or waxing to me. So I will continue until she comes:-)

I trimmed before labour as my midwife and doctor told me i couldn't after 36 weeks in case of any infection caused by ingrown hair as women due get bumps after shaving

I am due July 22nd. When would you recommend I get it done? Once in June and then again right before labor?

I was advised if you’ve never done it before to not do it because you’re already sensitive down there. But I mean you could always get it done, it will just hurt 10x worse than without being pregnant lol

It’s up to you. They will shave you at the hospital even if you don’t I have heard. I got one literally the weekend before giving birth to my first child in April lol. I am glad I did cause I felt so much cleaner during labor and it definitely prevented irritation after the fact, since there was no hair to rub up against you

Pregnancy has made me allergic to the Wax from European Wax Center so I haven’t gone back since the rash occurred.
