How long does it take for hgc to return to not pregnant?

How long after a natural miscarriage does it take for hormone levels to return to not pregnant? 
In uk so bloods not done by hospital. 
Wondering if i should book a scan to check it’s a complete miscarriage?

For me it lasted a week after the begining of my mc to test negative. I used pregnancy tests every day to monitor on which day it became negative. I am sorry for your loss.

I had a missed miscarriage and had medication. The hospital told me to do a pregnancy test 2 weeks after the bleeding stopped. If negative then good if not I’d have to contact the early pregnancy unit to get a scan.
Tho I should say after my miscarriage because I had medication to start it the hospital did scan me a week after.
