Over night stays

I guess I just need to vent. I stay at my boyfriends house about 6 nights out of the week, obviously sleeping in the same bed. We’re going somewhere with my parents tomorrow so we’re staying the night at their house and they’re making us sleep separately. I went to bed almost 3.5 hours ago and still cannot sleep. I think it’s because I know he’s here but I’m not allowed to sleep next to him. I’m just super pissed because I know if we had our own place together they wouldn’t be doing this or if we were married.
