Early delivery possible

I am 34 weeks and have been spotting, contractions, my cervix is softened and she has dropped. He will do a c-section at 37 weeks if I don't have her before then. I'm scared I will have her to soon but he is not putting me on bed rest or won't stop labor if it happens. I'm measuring at about 35 weeks. I'm just so worried. Are the chances higher now that I've dropped and he said she is right there ready to go
