Silly question but..

On the birth control pill, the day where you stop taking the pill to have withdrawal bleed - are you still protected during that time?

I was advised by my doctor to take 3 months back to back, and then have a 4 day break... during those 4 days would it still be safe? I’ve never really asked, and I thought I was still protected but I’m suddenly doubting myself 😂

Mainly just looking for reassurance 😂
