Gereatrics Pregnancy? Seriously?... I just stopped TTC

Question

I missed my period last Month when my bf & I split up and I moved out. I thought I was just stressed out. 
It’s now June and I finally moved back in & took a test..... positive? 
I’m not even trying anymore. 
Aren’t I too old at 39? My son is graduating high school this year

I’ve just joined the Glow community because I am in the same position. I’m turning 39 in 3 weeks and have 2 sons - 21 and 18. I am now in a relationship for a year with the most wonderful man and we are planning on trying for a child together. He is only 32 and has one young son. He’s an amazing father and we both want a child together so badly! Part of me thinks it’s just bonkers to start all over when my boys are now adults. But the more I read and branch out I find a lot of families with similar stories. I am nervous about my AMA so we plan on starting in August. At this point my cutoff is a year of trying and if it doesn’t happen then we will just enjoy the blended family we have. Best of luck to you all!!!

My friend is 41 and gave birth in March. Her eldest daughter is 24 and expecting her first baby in August. My friend never planned on having a baby 5 months before the birth if her first grandchild, but that's just how it's worked out! If you're happy about the baby then that's all that matters!

I will turn 39 on Tuesday my oldest son will be a junior in college next year, my daughter will be a junior in high school and my little one will be in 4th grade. My husband has no biological children and we are trying for one of our own! Life has its way of happening and God is the only one in control ❤️ Embrace what he has given you there are many of us on here that have been trying for months even years!
