Chlamydia

So the other week I found out I had chlamydia as I had a test done (many reasons behind it not because I thought I one but to do with periods etc) me and my partner of 2 years had a split in November (he told me he was never getting back with me and I had to loose feeling some how so slept with someone it wasn’t ment to happen it just did) and slept with this lad I got tested when me and my partner got back together and it was negative and then we had another split (over stupid thing) March (2nd) and I slept with the same guy and then me (drunken sex) and my partner got back together as we argued over something and knew it was stupid (he had slept with someone and got her pregnant) so last week I got a chlamydia test and it came back positive..... my question is how long after catching it does it make you infertile? Me and my partner have been trying for baby #2 and just wondering how long it takes to become infertile?
