Am I overreacting?

Not sure how I feel about this but I'm definitely a bit frustrated and upset. For the last two weeks daycare has said my one year old is a terrible napper. They asked me what I do at home and I told them I give her the soother (with the stuffy attached) put on music and walk away. Nothing fancy. She always sleeps great at home. And they kept telling me they are doing the same. So today when talking to the supervisor about it she said it was a bit better. She gave her the soother and she slept a bit longer. End of conversation. We get home that evening and when I was going through her bag I find the stuffy with her soother completely cut off. There was no mention of staff doing this. They did not ask me if we were thinking or ready to take the soother away.. it seems like they just decided. And it would appear they lied about it as they keep telling me they are giving it. I'm hoping there is a misunderstanding when I speak with them tomorrow. Im just hurt that this wasnt a discussion and I'm not being told the truth. It's silly really. Side note: we are planning on phasing out the soother now that she is one, but would have been nice to work with the daycare workers on this. Sorry if this sounds like a rant. She just really loved that thing, and now the stuffy is basically garbage. 😞
